Sometime last year I pinned a recipe for Oatmeal-Chocolate Chip Waffle Cookies made with a waffle iron. Genius! Since then I have seen several things made with a waffle iron such as hash-browns, cinnamon rolls, omelets and BROWNIES! Curious, I decided to experiment one night at work with a package of brownie mix and a hot waffle iron. The result was a decadent, yet simple, dessert that can be whipped up in 5 minutes.
No formal recipe is needed for this sinful dessert. All you need to do is grab a box of brownie mix at the local market, prepare according to package directions and heat up a waffle iron. Add batter to the iron, press down for about 3 minutes and voila! Top with ice cream, caramel, whipped cream or chocolate. Be creative and share your decadent dessert with friends. I must warn you, if sharing with friends a fork fight may occur!Pin It
