Ok, I have a confession. I have been on a cookie frenzy over the last few weeks and have been treating myself to healthy cookie options almost daily. I am active and with it being summer in Florida, I must lose 2 lbs of water weight a day. Ok, well maybe that is stretching it but I do exercise often and try to run/walk 3 miles daily. Today I had a life changing moment while shopping for work at the local Sam’s Club.
The name caught my eye and I found myself suddenly distracted from my shopping today at Sam’s Club. I spotted a glorious bag of Mrs. Thinster’s Coookie Thins in their toasted coconut flavor. First of all, I love anything that is coconut. Macaroons, Almond Joy, coffee creamer, donuts, you name it, I will eat it. Secondly, if I spot anything that is free of artificial ingredients or corn syrup, I am immediately intrigued. This was the first time I had ever heard of this brand and decided to grab a bag to take home and try. Boy am I glad I made this impulse buy as I am sitting here nibbling on a few of these with a cup of coffee. Much like those famous potato chips, no one can eat just one.
Made with only simple, wholesome ingredients that you have in your pantry and crafted in a facility that does not process peanuts or tree nuts, Mrs. Thinster’s are thin, crispy and deliciously crunchy. Available in Cookie Batter, Brownie Batter, Toasted Coconut and Chocolate Chip, I think I found my new obsession. A single serving (5 cookies) averages about 150 calories (each flavor varies) and can be enjoyed without all the guilt. I can’t wait to try their other flavors.
Have you tried these? I would love to hear your feedback.
