Nothing spells love quite like Nutella. This creamy, chocolate hazelnut spread is heaven in a jar. My kids and I love it so much that we always pick up at least two to three jars while shopping. With Valentine’s Day just a day away, I was looking for fun recipes for my kids on Pinterest last night and found a pin for Nutella Hot Chocolate. My heart skipped a beat and I went to bed dreaming of this decadent cup of bliss. The recipe is from the blog, Pepper, and is the only way to prepare hot chocolate from scratch. All you need is whole milk, Nutella and marshmallows.
This is ideal for a romantic gesture on Valentine’s Day or make this for yourself after a long day and relax with a movie. Pair this with breakfast on a lazy Sunday or enjoy on a rainy day. However you choose to savor this mug of happiness, it is sure to put a smile on your face.
My son LOVES hot chocolate and I can’t wait to make this for him when he gets home from school today.
I hope you have a wonderful Valentine’s Day!
